For more than 25 years I have defended clients at every stage of criminal proceedings, from the first phone call after a search to the main trial before the criminal courts. I tell you where you stand, even when the news is unwelcome. And what you tell me stays with me.
I have seen too often how an investigation throws someone’s life off course, at work and at home. So from our first phone call you should know what lies ahead, what I will do for you and what it will cost.
I studied law in Augsburg, Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck. While still a student I worked at a Munich firm specialising in administrative law, where I learned how to negotiate with public authorities. I completed my legal traineeship in Munich, with my elective placement at a criminal law firm.
After the second state examination I started out as a criminal defence lawyer and also taught exam candidates at the Hemmer revision course. I then spent ten years as a partner in a business law firm, where I headed the criminal law department. Since 2023 I have worked as a sole practitioner, sharing offices with attorney Jella von Wiarda, and opened a branch office in Rosenheim. Clients now also come to me from Austria and Switzerland.

Usually not. It is different if the police search your workplace or a conviction triggers professional reporting duties. We discuss the risks in your case with you early on.
Nothing. The court may not use your silence against you. Until your defence has read the file, silence is almost always the safest reaction.
